Your Hidden Guidance System
Have you ever had that experience of knowing something, but you don’t know how you know it? You just knew which way to go, or whether to trust someone, in an instant.
Or maybe you just felt something in your gut and you followed it without thinking, and it turned out to be a great decision?
That’s called “intuition” and it’s one of the most important sources of guidance for you in life and leadership. If you answered yes to any of the questions above, those are signals that your intuition is at work.
Often we have been trained to ignore or invalidate our intuition because at times it may not make sense to the outside world.
One of the things I do for my clients is help support and strengthen their intuition. Sometimes I call myself an intuitive coach. That means two things:
First, while I have a lot of experience and training, the most powerful resource I bring to my client relationships is my intuition, my ability to listen to and feel for the most important things we need to tackle and exactly how.
Second, I help my clients reconnect with and supercharge their own intuition so they don’t need to rely on the guidance of others nearly as much. When that happens, life and leadership starts to flow.
Intuition not only helps as an inner compass but it also serves as a warning sign of when to go against the grain, when to push harder, or slow down. The best by-product of listening and following your own intuition is that your confidence will sky rocket. You don’t believe me? Try it on for size.
Over the next week listen to that gut instinct and see what happens. If a challenge comes up in the week, first listen to yourself and see what you are being led to do about it. The answer might very well be out of your comfort zone, but trust it.
If you are struggling to tap into your intuition and you want to learn how to strengthen that area of your life I have some of my own hidden secrets that I can share with you during one on one coaching calls or in group coaching calls coming soon.
