Transitioning into Summer

As our environment transitions from spring to summer, I can’t help but reminisce on how we as human beings also experience transitions through the different seasons of life. Transformation is simply a natural part of healing and growing and an important component of human evolution. When you take a second to admire nature as it changes with the season, you can start to see how things may have changed within you throughout the different seasons of your life.

No matter the stage of life that you are at right now, you are most likely experiencing one or more changes. When change occurs in your life, it occurs within you, changing your needs, desires and wants and evolving your passions.

Spring is a time of new growth, a season to listen and learn, a time for discovering new opportunities and a time for dynamic thinking. You must trust in the timing and accept the rebirthing of a new you and a deeper level of self-understanding. This is the season when new habits are built, skills and knowledge are developed, and a newfound energy and empowerment will support incredible and challenging goals that will propel you forward in life.

Consider when in your life you have been in a season of spring, what have you learned about yourself, your wants and desires. Reflect on how that has shaped you into the person you are today, what valuable lessons have you learned?

As you move from spring into summer, this is a time to celebrate, savour the success, and fulfillment, this is a time of harmony and rhythm, when life flows naturally. Summer is a season to capitalize on the opportunities taken and habits created, it is a time to network, expand your comfort zone, allow creative thinking and relaxation. This is the time when the things you work hard for come together, when your hard work becomes a life experience.

Reflect on how the seasons of summer have shaped you throughout your life, how have your values, habits and work ethic changed as you take time to celebrate you and the risks you take.

As we witness a transition from spring to summer within our surroundings, consider how you have transitioned through seasons in your lifetime. Consider how this transition may be affecting your children, as they transition out of another school year and into a summer of reward and celebration. How do you encourage a time to sit in their accomplishments and winnings, to transition from a season of hustle and work to a time of freedom and relaxation?

As you move through life, it is important to be aware of the seasonal transitions you experience. An individual will move through the seasons of life many times over, following a natural cycle and rhythm that encourages growth and a better understanding of oneself. When one has a deep understanding of self they can flow through life making choices and decisions naturally, leading them to their divine purpose.
